Gaming Laptops
For the avid gamer on the move or away from home gaming laptops are for you. With laptops getting even more powerful, cooler and lighter gaming laptops are becoming a reality. The main things to look for when considering buying a laptop to play games on are a high spec processor, dedicated graphics chip and large system memory. Dual core processors like the Intel Core 2 Duo are recommended. Speeds over 2GHz should be considered good. Currently all Rizeon Laptops come with this as standard. Dedicated graphics chips are essential. Nvidia and ATI are the 2 main players here. Rizeon Laptops feature the latest Nvidia Geforce 9 Series and ATi Mobility Radeon 4600 Series. Although these chips have dedicated memory they can also use the main system memory, which is a feature known as "Turbocache". The 9300M Series is good enough for less intensive games. The 9600M series found in the and Rizeon S97V-GT and the new ATi Radeon 4650 in the Rizeon KB2 will play all the latest games without any problems however for the hard core gamers who want to play games like Crysis at full settings we'd recommend the Rizeon M571 laptop featuring the Nvidia Geforce 8800M GTX chip. 2GB Ram is the absolute minimum for smooth gaming on Microsoft Windows Vista. Ideally we would recommend 3GB or 4GB. As standard our laptops come with the latest wireless technology, DVD Rewriters and even high capacity 7200RPM Hard Drives which you are unlikely to find in retail shops.
